These three focus areas give an opportunity for members and working groups to start focusing on challenges, goals and action related elements to bring to the AGM. Of course, the focus action areas are meant to be linked to speed up the development of goals and actions in the regular working groups.  

As three main areas are mentioned we think along the lines that these are together a tri-pod, which is a well-known sámi construction structure. Also, they match many of the already established focus areas of WINHEC.

This year the host will present to the WINHEC audience a new working group focusing on “sustainable developement and climat change”. 

The host already has many research and development projects that matches the focus areas, and you will have the opportunity to learn about some of them during the meeting days by presentations, discussions and posters.
